Bell, Wills stepson of Samuel Lake died Saturday last.  Clark County Herald, 20 April 1880, page 1

Braynard, Alonzo W. died 18 September 1860, at 50 years, 3 months, 12 days.  The Hornet, September 27, 1860, page 3

Boyer, Harriet consort of George Boyer died on the 28th, of consumption at the age of 22 years in Dolson Township.  Marshall Messenger, April 1st, 1869, page 4

Brown, son of James died last week of spotted fever.  Marshall Weekly Messenger, May 1, 1873, page 5

Brown, Willie R. age 10 the grandson of Mrs. R.S. Janney died Saturday, September 13, 1879, son of Mrs. Susannah Hollenbeck, funeral September 14, at 10 am, leaves a mother, stepfather, and a little sister. October 7, 1879, Clark County Herald, page 1

Buckner, Oma wife of John T. Buckner died on November 6th, funeral was Saturday, buried in West York Cemetery, she was the daughter of George Fultz of Hutsonville, and she had been married only 5 months.  Clark County Herald, November 11, 1896, page 5

Burns, Mr. of Douglas Township, the funeral was Thursday last and was buried in the Catholic Cemetery.  Marshall Weekly Messenger, August 14, 1873, page 5

Casteel, Laura the daughter of L.D. Casteel, born 1851, died May 7, 1899 of congestion of the brain, she was married to Frank Crumsine.  The Acorn, May 12, 1899, page 1

Cline, Jacob died the 22nd in Livingston of consumption at the age of 65 years.  Marshall Weekly Messenger, August 23, 1873, page 5

Colburn, R. W. died 22 April 1855, in Memorial by Hall Hutsonsville Lodge #136 F & A Masons.  The Eastern Illinoisan, April 1855, page 1

Cox, Maggie wife of Jason Cox, daughter of Jacob and Delia Saliday was buried at Lindley graveyard on October 27th, she leaves 4 small children.  Clark County Herald, November 11th, 1896, page 5

Dallas, daughter of James Dallas fell from a wagon and was ran over by it’s wheel and died.  October 7th, 1879, Clark County Herald, page 1

Ferguson, Mrs. of Casey died, leaves husband and 1 child.  Her youngest was buried in Charleston.  Marshall Weekly Messenger, May 29, 1873, page 5

Floyd, Nannie the wife of Henry died the 2nd in York at the age of 35 years.  Clark County Herald, May 10, 1876, page 1

Fraker, Jacob Sr. hung himself, at the age of 58 years, he leaves 3 grown sons, and his wife died a few years back.  Clark County Herald, 11 September 1868, page 3

Gibson, Anna Marie daughter of James E. and Sarah T. died 25th of April, at the age of 1 year and 11 months.  Illinois State Democrat, 27 April 1850, page 3

Hamel, Archer Jr. was thrown from his horse on Wednesday and was killed.  He was single and was 25 years of age.  Clark County Herald, 11 Sept. 1868, page 3

Haslit, Wm. age 75 died in bed, found by his daughter Mrs. S. Dover on Sunday.  He leaves his 1 son and 6 daughters, buried in Terre Haute.  Clark County Herald, 26 October 1904, page 1

Henbest, Alfred died on the 19th, he leaves his wife and children.  The Messenger, August 21, 1868, page 4

Hicklin, Jonathon died in Pana, Christian County, Illinois on 9 March 1858.  Born in Virginia in February 1852, at the age of 22 he moved to Kentucky, from Kentucky to Knox County, Indiana then to Clark County near Livingston for 38 years.  He was 106 years and 22 days.  The Eastern Illinoisan, April 3, 1858, page 3

Johnson, Susan daughter of John Johnson died on the 9th, of lung fever in Darwin Township at the age of 9 years.  Marshall Messenger, May 13th, 1869, page 3

Kildow, George died Tuesday at the age of 93 years.  The Acorn, May 12, 1899, page 1

Kuykendall, John died on the 6th, he was 23 years, 1 month, and 10 days of age.  Clark County Herald, 14 May 1869, page 3

Lacy, Margaret the daughter of E. & P. died on the 11th, at the age of 3 years.  The Messenger, 18 September 1868, page 4

Laingor, Levi died in Taylorville last week.  Clark County Herald, October 7, 1879, p4.

Leamon, James died Saturday, one of Crawford County’s oldest citizens, at the age of 80 years, and 7 months.  Clark County Herald, 26 October 1904, page 5

Littlefield, Johnnie infant son of John and Amelia Littlefield died Wednesday at 1 p.m., buried yesterday.  Clark County Herald, 30 July 1869, page 3

Lockard, Florry died last Sunday of consumption.  The Eastern Illinoisan, March 30th, 1878, page 3

Medsker, Wm. living south of town died Sunday.  Clark County Herald, May2, 1877, page 4, Martinsville Clipping

Mitchel, Robert died on the 10th.  The Hornet, July 12th, 1860, page 3

Shaw, Nancy consort of Stephen Archer died the 20th of consumption at the age of 57 years. She was born 18 January 1811 in Grant County (Clark County now) Indiana, her father was Joseph and she was married to Stephen Archer.  The Messenger, 28 May 1868

Tiffin, Harrison an old soldier committed suicide Thursday by cutting his throat with a razor.  There is a longer story, he leaves his wife and son.  Clark County Herald, November 11, 1896, page 5

Tousley, Trenck killed by Richard C. Myles by 3 gun shots on Friday afternoon.  Long story available.  Clark County Herald, 20 April 1880, Tuesday, page 5

Townsend, Samuel died on Big Creek on 13th, at the age of 56 years.  The Eastern Illinoisan, April 26th, 1856, page 3

Wells, John died last Monday, by being accidentally shot while turkey hunting.  Marshall Weekly Messenger, August 23, 1873, page 5

Willard, Mary J. died Saturday, she was the oldest daughter of Capt. Nathan Willard deceased.  She was 26 years, 11 months, and 10 days, she died of consumption at her mother’s residence on Fourth St. between Cherry and Oak.
