School Children Unknown

These were among the possessions of the late Esther Lucile Steven,
daughter of John David Shoemaker, who was a teacher and
Superintendent of Schools in the late 1890s and early 1900s.
Unfortunately, these photos had no identification. None of the
surviving family knows either the date or location, let alone who is
in the photos. We assume that one or more of the Shoemaker children
may be among the pupils. As a reference, J. D. Shoemaker's oldest
son was born in 1894 and his youngest son was born in 1900. I would
assume these photos were taken between 1900 and 1910.
