DOLSON TOWNSHIP SUNDAY SCHOOL CONVENTION-1889
CLARK COUNTY HERALD
17-APRIL-1889
The Dolson Township Sunday School Association met in
convention, at the German Church, north of Clarksville, on March 31,
at 10:30 AM. The German School was the only one
present. As the day bid fair for rain not many came from
other schools. Consequently the German school conducted
most of the exercises. Their music was good, young and
old, singing together. When they undertake anything they
all work and success is certain. Welcome address by
Joseph Lutz, review of the last quarter by Edgar Coons in English
and Henry Lutz in German, Rev. R.O. Hawkins talked at length to the
assembly on Sunday school work. Clarksville is honored
with our next convention.
